Rights of Patients

You have the right to:

  • Refuse delivery of any and all equipment. Receive a clear explanation about your condition
  • Prompt delivery and to be fully informed on the use, and care of All-Med Health Care equipment in your home.
  • Have All-Med Health Care staff communicate in a language that is understandable to you.
  • Expect that all equipment to be clean and in good repair. Have your personal privacy respected
  • Have your property respected during visits. Have any questions answered promptly, correctly and courteously.
  • Have your personal, cultural, and ethnic preferences considered. To expect a resolution to any problem or complaint.
  • To participate in planning how service will be provided to you, and to be informed of all options if the need to transfer care arises.
  • Know that if he/she is found unresponsive, All-Med Health Care’s policy is for staff to call 911 for emergency medical intervention.
  • Express dissatisfaction and suggest changes without coercion, discrimination, reprisal, or unreasonable interruption of service.

Responsibilities of Patients

You have the responsibility to:

  1. Give accurate and complete health information concerning your past use of equipment and any change in address, doctor, insurance carrier, prescription.
  2. Assist in developing and maintaining a safe environment. Follow instruction in care and use of all equipment.
  3. Request further information concerning anything you do not understand. Treat All-Med Health Care associates with respect, courtesy, and consideration
  4. To order supplies or refills on a timely basis to accommodate reasonable delivery.
  5. To have someone at home on the day delivery is scheduled. To pay all invoices that is due; not covered by their insurance.
  6. Accept the consequences of any refusal or choice of noncompliance, including changes in reimbursement eligibility.
    Customer concerns are an important form of feed-back for our company. Any questions or concerns regarding your service or equipment should be directed to the Manager at All-Med Health Care so that we can improve our service. You are entitled to a written response to your formal complaint.

Warranty Information: Every product sold or rented by our company carries a 1-year or as long as manufacturer’s warranty lasts, which ever is longer. All-Med Health Care will notify all Medicare beneficiaries of the warranty coverage, and we will honor all warranties under applicable law. All-Med Health Care will repair or replace, free of charge, Medicare-covered equipment that is under warranty. In addition, an owner’s manual with warranty information will be provided to beneficiaries for all durable medical equipment where this manual is available.

Restocking Fee- for returned item(s) all returns are subject to a restocking fee. We have a standard restocking fee of 15% on all returned items. If you wish to return a product but do not place a reorder, the restocking fee will be 15%. If an order is placed for a similar product (costing nearly the same amount), the re-stocking fee can be lowered from 15% to 10%.

Return Policy- All-Med Health Care will accept any unopened items for a full refund within 5 business days of the purchase.

All-Med Health Care will not issue a refund for any open products or items considered for personal use that have sanitary implications.

All-Med Health Care will not accept refunds on Bathroom Safety equipment or Compression Stockings for sanitary reasons.

All items must be returned in original packaging including all parts, manuals and accessories. Items not returned in full will not be credited. When returning a product that was purchased by cash, check, or money order, a refund will take the form of a company check by mail within one week of the return.

All returned items that were originally purchased by credit card will receive a refund to the same credit card that was used for the initial purchase.

All-Med Health Care reserves the right to refuse the return of an item due to damage or sanitary condition. Per State of CT Statutes: CGS Chapter 735c and CGS Sec.42-110b, Relevant Regulations: Sec.42-110b-16and Sec.42-110b-17, by law, you are not entitled to a refund on:
Custom-ordered or Custom –made items, Items that were sold “as is” or as a “final sale”, Items with no proof of purchase, Used items, Items which by law can not be resold, such as mattresses
